DIY Herbal Chest/Breast Massage Oil

Sweet Violet

Breast Massage is the utmost importance for everyone- for all genders- especially folks with large breast tissue as we have much more tissue to work with! Breast massage is a wonderful lymph supporter for the removal of wastes, circulation, elasticity of the tissue & even helps create firmer tissue with daily practice- for real:)
No matter your gender there’s a whole heck of a lot of lymph in the breast and chest area- it needs some attention! And did you know lymph does not have it’s own pumping mechanism or peristalsis to help it move fluid? Nope. So the more hydrated we stay, the more we move our bodies AND the more we massage- the more our lymphatic system thrives!

Daily massage is where it’s at! Let’s start with daily breast massage!

Calendula, Violet & Dandelion flower are my favorite herbs to stimulate and nourish the lymph in the breast area. Below I’ll offer you an oil infusion recipe to create your own herbal oil. Please know that any old massage oil will do- and you don’t have to get all fancy if you don’t want to. Use an unrefined oil of your choice- massage away- you can’t go wrong. BUT I will say that adding  our herbal friends to the mix adds that much more power & action to our blends… the choice is yours! xo

Dried Herbal Infused Oil ~What you’ll need::

12 oz. unrefined oil of choice (I like a sesame- sunflower blend myself)

1/2 cup of herbs (Dried Calendula, Violet – or both)

Crock pot/stove top w/soup pot

Chop stick

2 pint sized mason jars with lids

Cheese cloth/fine mesh strainer

vitamin e oil or white sage

Remember the honey recipe? It’s exactly the same- only when the oil is ready and has “marinated” for 6-8hrs on the stove top or crock pot, you’ll want to strain your oil through a fine mesh strainer and or cheese cloth into a clean mason jar to store. I like to add a few drops of vitamin e oil or a white sage leaf to help preserve it. You’ll store your herbal oil in a dark cool place until you’re ready to use it.

Breast & Chest Oil Recipe~ What You’ll Need

4oz bottle ( I prefer a bottle with a pump)

4oz. unrefined/herbal oil of choice

2 drops Rose Absolute

10 drops Bergamot essential oil

6 drops Frankincense essential oil

***bear in mind that YOUR nose- knows best! Use your own favorite scent blend if this one doesn’t sound appealing- this is just my favorite go-to blend for the heart… trust your instincts!

And as an added benefit perhaps you’d like to incorporate some mantra into your daily breast massage practice? The sound YUM is the mantra for the heart chakra- you can chant aloud or to yourself.  Maybe you’d even like to add a couple drops of some heart supportive flower essences to the mix as you massage? Do it up! You’re worth it. xo
