Ginger-Citrus Water

It’s So simple!

You’ll need::

Fresh Ginger Root

Organic Lemon and or Lime

Water


Start boiling  your water.(Drink your first 8oz. mug warm like tea and then you can just add to room temperature water if you prefer.)

Chop/grate your ginger root. I use my small cuisinart blender to grind it all up then I store it in the fridge for future use. The more your grind or chop your ginger, the stronger the taste will be.

Ginger is a strong tasting herb so a little goes a long way.

For those new to ginger I suggest starting with about 1 tsp (a pinch) of chopped/ground fresh ginger to 8oz. mug of hot water.

Add your tsp of ginger to your favorite 8 oz mug. Add a wedge or two of *organic lemon & or lime squeeze the juice from the wedges and leave them in the mug.

Pour hot water over your ginger & citrus and into  your mug. Let steep until cool enough to drink.

Drink this tea first thing in the AM to boost digestion and elimination every day!
