Wild Weed Pesto

Super Simple, Super Yummy, Super Good For You!
-1 cup of Basil
-1/3 cup of Seaweed (Arame, Dulse, Nori or Wakame)
-1/3 cup chopped fresh Dandelion greens, Nettle leaves and or Chickweed
-1/3 cup of scallions, Parsley and or Cilantro
-1-3 cloves of Garlic (depending on how much you like Garlic…I LOVE it J)
-1/3-½ cup of Nutritional Yeast or Cheese of your choice
-¼ cup of ground sesame seeds
-½ cup of your choice of nut. I prefer almonds, or pine nuts…sometimes walnutJ
-1cup extra virgin olive oil (add more as needed to blend everything into a pasty consistency)
-Sea salt or
*you can also add olives, sundried tomatoes, capers(which are fermented juniper berries by the way J)…whatever your heart desires*
*Use this pesto on rice, pasta, quinoa, millet or stir fries. Throw a dollop in soups for added flavor, or use it as a spread on toast or English muffins…or omelets and tofu scrambles! Yum!
